Terry Fox Run in Oakville
Since 2010 Bredet employees have participated in the Annual Terry Fox run in Oakville, ON and made financial donations.

In 1980, Terry Fox demonstrated such a strong, positive will, in the wake of being diagnosed with cancer, by deciding to run across Canada on a prosthetic leg to raise funds for cancer research. Terry knew he faced an immense challenge, however, after running the equivalent of nearly a marathon a day for 143 days, he was forced to stop when the cancer recurred in his lungs.

Participants in Oakville, ON chose to either run, walk, bicycle, board, in-line skate, push a stroller or walk the dog along a five-kilometre or 10K route, as well as took part in a 2K family walk/run. All funds raised, were donated to The Terry Fox Foundation.
