What functions do Quality Systems perform?
Posted by: Michael Robbins on 2/25/2010 8:59:33 AM
The following is a brief discussion of Quality System functions:
- You can create subjective "Pass/Fail” inspections or tests or very specific tests with specific variables and ranges of acceptable test performance.
- The Quality Associations relationship allows a user to specify at what stage in the manufacturing or incoming process the product must be inspected or tested, before it is released for further processing.
- The system will force the user to inspect or test the product and enter specific inspection or test data. If the data entered is within the acceptable data range the system will released the item for further processing.
- A Certificate of Compliance can be printed for any Quality inspection or test result.
- In order to ensure that quality problems are resolved, the system allows users to create Non-Conformance records and Corrective action records.
